    PC Audio Song Sampling

I have a friend who is interested in sampling audio and use to create a new track which the sample is but one piece of the whole project. Much like some current artist do today (hope he does not get caught) . Unfortunately the software I use works very well but I can not find it any longer. What programs are available to do this? It must be easy to use and under $100 (USA).

    Thanks All

He just wants to take an MP3 or WAV, sample the parts he wants and use them in a another track. He has MixMeister to mix presently.

    Thanks

Oh, so he just wants to re-edit the track? Goldwave should do the trick...
