If you count reissues (such as the ones you mention above) there are far too many to choose from...
I was wondering if some of you guys can give me a list of some great double sided 12' DISCO records.
The best TWO by far are:
VOYAGE:SOUVENIRS/FROM EAST TO WEST
CERRONE: SUPERNATURE/LOVE IN C MINOR
If you can help me out that would be great!!
And NO I'm not a tight arse!!![]()
Thanks

Although a reissue too, I have a great double sided 12 inch featuring both Yarbrough & Peoples 'Don't Stop The Music' as well as The Gap Band's 'Oops Up Side Your Head'. It was a 1986 reissue by ZYX Records (5526) from Germany and it was part of a series of 'Golden Dance-Floor Hits'. Maybe one of the series you could look out for if you're interested in double sided 12 inches.
Two good double siders from Vanguard
Mouzons Electric Band "Everbody Get Down/I Still love You Baby"
Rainbow Brown "Till You Surrender/I'm the One"
Leather is the way forward!
Noel's "DANCING IS DANGEROUS" b/w "THE NIGHT THEY INVENTED LOVE" (Virgin/1979)
NOT the "Silent Morning" Noel guy--but a girl (we think)
Very Moroder-esque but actually produced by The Mael Brothers (Sparks) after they worked with Giorgio.
A lotta folks seem to have never heard these tracks--both big at Troc in SF circa 1980.
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
For non-reissues:
Sister Sledge - "He's the Greatest Dancer"/"We Are Family"
I'm going with the original issues here---kidz, the other is cheating.
Cheryl Lynn's "Got To Be Real" b/w "Star Love"
BOTH CLASSICS!!!! :D
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
How about:
Cerrone - Love in C Minor b/w Black is black
Change - A lover's holiday b/w The end
Change - Searching b/w Angel in my pocket
Chic - Good times b/w A warm summer's night
Chic - I want your love b/w Funny bone
Fat Larry's Band - Act like you know b/w Golden moment
Gino Soccio - Out of my life b/w Turn it around (instrumental version, which is so much better!)
Heatwave - Goin' crazy b/w Jitterbuggin' + Wack that axe (three on one for the real tight arses  )
I-Level - Minefield b/w Give me
Laid Back - White horse b/w Sunshine reggae
Matt Bianco - Half a minute b/w Matt's mood
Nick Straker Band - A walk in the park b/w Leaving on a midnight train

Johnny Mathis had a double-sided hit with "Begin The Beguine" and "Gone, Gone, Gone"; not that big on the disco charts --but it was played a lot and has attained a "classic status"--at least, 'round here.

:o WOW!!! I never knew "THE END" appeared on any 12" single!! I always LOOOOVED this track on their LP but it ends so drastically.. Is the version on the 12" longer than the LP??Change - A lover's holiday b/w The end
The 12" with "The end" on it was a Dutch pressing (WEA 79 140). "The end" clocks at 5:54, which is exactly the same as the album version. "A lover's holiday" also is the full album lenght version at 6:24.
With a few exceptions, most Change 12" releases carried actually the full album versions. The 7" singles had shorter edits. Examples:
"Magical night" 7" clocks at 4:20, the album and 12" at 6:12
"This is your time" 7" clocks at 3:40, the album version at 5:49
Exceptions (that I am aware off  ) are:
Mutual attraction (remix) b/w Instrumental version (1985)
Oh, what a feeling - Paul Hardcastle remix b/w original version (1985)
