Yes this is a great pop song with a dance sensibility. I heard a snippet of the song and they announced the group would be in the next day to perform it. You must have seen that performance.
Has anybody heard this song yet?
THIS LOVE
I believe it's new.... I was watching MTV & saw them perform it... Pop song w/ a funk edge... really cool.

Actually Joshua.. I happen to be channel surfing and saw the video about 6 weeks ago. Vh-1 top 10 songs of the week segment. Glad I watched.
Maroon 5 is the musical guest on this coming Saturday's "SNL" (Feb 21)...so I'll finally be able to see what you talkin' 'bout Willis.

Maroon5 were on SNL last night--and I'm a new fan. They did 2 really good songs--very Jamiroquai in sound. I'm getting the cd: "Songs About Jane" (released in June of 2002). I guess it's taken a while for this band to get a hit.
I recognized one of the tunes--maybe they were on Letterman or Leno earlier? Anyway, thanks for the heads up.

Damn! I watched the intro of the show and then popped in a DVD. Forgot all about the band but kept saying the name sounded familiar. Now I know why. Maybe I'll give the guys a chance and pick up the CD.Originally Written by markydefad
Hi guys,
I assume they performed "This Love"... sounding like Jamaroquai. Did the other song they performed similar to the song I mentioned? If so, I'm probably gonna buy it 100% for sure now.
I bought the Maroon 5 CD at Best Buy for $9.99 on Saturday. I've listened to the whole thing twice.
The first song on the cd is the "other song" they performed on SNL--"Harder To Breathe" ---"is anyone out there, cause it's gettin' harder & harder to breathe" --this is more Rock than the second cut "This Love"--BUT just as good.
On the whole it's like Inxs meets Jamiroquai meets Hall & Oates. I liked the whole thing. Nice variety of tunes: Some rockers, some Jamiroquai sounding stuff, some ballads--"very melodic with grit" as John Mayer says on the cover blurb.
I also bought the Austrailian rock group Jet. Liked what I heard so far-- sorta Rolling Stones meets AC/DC kinda hooks.

Yeah, I missed the SNL but saw them on the "Tonite" (or maybe Conan?), I liked them too but I can't remember what song they performed, I need to pick up this CD also.
the new song with Christina Aguilera is nice Electro Disco, I like Christina's part in this song more than Adam's
