Can anybody tell me how many songs they produced?
I know they have 12" from Creol and Parachute CR 12-170 LIQUID GOLD COME ON AND DANCE / MR. GRO 1979
RRD 20523 PA LIQUID GOLD MY BABY'S BABY/(instrumental) 1979
RRD 20527 PA LIQUID GOLD DANCE YOURSELF DIZZY / (rem 1979
CR 12-159 LIQUID GOLD ANYWAY YOU DO IT / MY BABY' 1978
Is there an album also? Any Good?
I consider myself Ellie Hope's greatest groupie, but even I cannot get an actual fix on every title in the Liquid Gold ouevre. "Substitute" might be their best track, though many prefer "Dance Yourself Dizzy" or "My Baby's Baby" (brilliant track!) From what I've seen of the albums released domestically in the US, stick to the 12"s, unless you really REALLY need to hear Ellie's version of "Secret Love".

I have a 7" single Liquid gold-Don't panic from 1980.
And, don't forget "What She's Got" from the early Eighties...
The only track I know of that has not been listed is "The Night, The Wine and The Roses" from 1980. It was a minor UK hit.
BELIEVE IN THE BEAT!
Liquid Gold is my fav group b/c of the total quality of their albums. I have 12" and album version of Dance Yourself Dizzy and, My Baby's Baby and a 12' of Wine/Roses. Whenever I get to glum, I plop on Dance and quickly get wisked away to my dancin' yooth!
Once side note: when in London last year, they had an oldies/disco 1/2 show on Saturday (cant remember the name) and that featured vidoes (no performance clips), but real videos of My Baby's Baby and Sarah Vauhan and Gossip's Starship Trooper. Love that spandex!!!
