    Disco sound of 2004?

Ok.Anybody got any thought about what the ¨Disco¨ sound of 2004 will be?. Will it continue to be the retro 80's sound?
Another thing is that it seems like the the popstar/Idol etc. series is very destructive for dance music, because no underground dance hit has ever been a commercial hit in UK ever since it started. Must be some connection.

Whats interresting is that the Idol series in Norway had a Disco special final, were everybody sang a disco song. And the atmosphere was magical and people in the studio was extatic.I mean it was REALLY something else,I had a tear in my eye.Shouldnt this ring a bell for the record executives?

    Ok.its saturday and I have been drinking.Long live Disco.Cheers! :D :o :D :P

I sincerely hope that 2004 will be the year when jazz-house moves from the underground and into the big league......but then again, I say that every year

Too many are just missing out on too much of the good stuff! Thankfully, dance music is about other things than Hector F*****g Hex!

2004 's house/disco sound is moving over to a more electro/Euro-orientated sound.... thought all these trends are pretty fickle. But generally a colder, more stripped-back electronic sound. Not exactly my favourite style, but still some interesting stuff is coming out...

    Eg.

ALEXKID with LISSETTE ALEA: Come With Me (remixes) (F Communications France)

And as the eighties are coming back in all areas, fashion, movies, music, does this mean we are going to have another over a decade long retro era, now with the 80's? That's more or less what happened with the seventies...

So time to put on those black sunglasses and start to fear the emergance of retro power rock à'la Mr.Mr. 8)

Yes, I put my specs on as the sunsets too. Don't want to ruin my tan  Sunglasses are to be worn at night and especially indoors. How cool can you go ... 8) everybody should get new design specs for night time posing. :-?

Does this mean that nudisco movement (or what should it be called?) have already reached it's hight and now it's all electro etc? Some 60's influenced pop maybe - a little reggae on the side... At Helsinki reggae or so seems to mean ultimate hip&cool, so I guess it has happened elsewhere too. But who's the tracyullman of the Millenium?

    God I'm bored! :(
