Ok fellas. After reading a post from an earlier thread, I remembered this album of lou's. I faintly remember the cover had Lou on the front with an old granddad hat on and it looked as if he was in front of a window with a neon light....maybe a Budweiser light or something? Am I correct?
Anyway I used to LOVE his rendition of the Quincy Jones classic "Sanford & Son Theme". Jazzy funk I must say.

I have looked to add this album to my CD collection but, As many of you may already know it was one of those that Blue Note (or whoever) choose not to re-issue as of yet.
I usually keep checking to find out if an album has been re-issued but this was one that I gave up on a couple years ago. My question is does anyone know if Lou's album version of the "Sanford & Son Theme" has been included on any greatest hits or compilation CD's? I already have Quincy's version (which I think is the best) and I also have one by a guy named "Caesar Frasier"...Not as good as Lou & Quincy's but still ok. Also, Has anyone else done a rendition of the Sanford & Son Theme?

Thanks for the help
