dB Power Amp is a very fast and configuarable ripping and conversion program, which is free. They have Real encoding and decoding codecs available from their library, Codec Central.

Bear in mind that the Real decoding is done in realtime.

Mixtape, I've tried the converter but I can't find the right way to convert my rm's in mp3's.

    How do you do this?

    Thx, LSY.

Try "Audio HiJack" as it will save an AIFF file out of any sound that comes out of your Mac. You can then convert that to MP3 or ACC...

once u have the program installed on ure computer, open the program up. It should show you all ure folders from ure c drive. You go to the folder with rm file u want to convert, double click the rm file and it should convert the rm into mp3. Be aware that when u do this it takes as long as the song. So... If you have a rm for 28 minutes, it will take 28-30 minutes to transfer to mp3. Also it doesnt show on mine how much % is left. When it is fully complete it will show on the bottom, completed.
