Does anybody know if there was a 12" of this track by Sylvester? I know it is on "Absolutely The Very Best of Disco" CD long out of print.

Yes, there is. Megatone released a "Collectors Edition" 12" in 1989, MT-1176. It spins at 45 rpm and it's pressed on white vinyl. The label is a picture of Sylvester.

Side A: I Need You 7:45 - previously unreleased underground mix

Side B: I Need You 8:14 - another unreleased mix

That's the wording on the label, not mine.
