    disco from the 80's

    The 80's produced some very good disco songs, although the word "disco" had gone passé. Even in the mid 80's there were some exelent ones.

    For example: who performed "Savage Lover" and in what year?

    And what's the name of that song that said:
    "Cool it down, you're gonna loose control...
    Cool it down, you're gonna fall in love....". Who performed it and in what year?

    'Savage Lover' was by The Ring, on Vanguard. Can't recall the year - maybe '81.

    Hey Ernesto,

    "Cool It Now" is by New Edition. They were a boy group with many great songs. Check out "Candy Girl" and "Popcorn Love".
