    New Years resolutions

I have a few things i will or will not do in 2004:

    - I will not buy the Ethel Merman album even though it's out on CD.

    - I will make a post in the "Discuss Dance Rock & General Rock / Pop Section"

    - I will try to stop bitching any time anybody starts talking about the "rare meaning good" stuff

    - I will buy an italo album, listen to it and actually try to understand

    - I will reach platinum member status without posting in the LHSF or "name game" quizzes

Anyone else have something they've gotta do in 2004??
    There was life after disco!!

    here's my resolutions:

    1. I will give Jakki's - Sun, Sun, Sun another spin... and try to understand why I don't like it.

    2. Try to say something positive about Christina Aguilerra

    3. Stay away from Gemm.com

    4. Stay away from E-Bay.com

    5. Refrain from any thoughts of moving in with K-bee & DJ Jimmy M... because he might spend $1500 on an Alec Constantinos record... and we couldn't pay the frickin' rent that month. :P

    6. Pay for subscription to SS

    7. Get a Life

    .... i'll think of more later... :D

-Make a disco party for my friends.

-Make a decent excuse to them for listening to Giorgio's keyboards so often. :)

    -Download many more MP3s.

-Submit more records to Bernie's database.

-Make reality any of the book projects I have before I start to think I'm "frustrated".

    I have some:

    1) Make my music database a reality

    2) Become more proficient with Traktor, Sound Forge and ACID.

    3) Find an electronics store to repair my AKAI reel-to-reel

    4) Take these f*&%ing TrackMaster cartidges off my turntables. What the hell was I thinking?

    5) Burn my first 'mixed' CD :D

Here are mine, I hope I can stick to them:

    1) I will try not to sound as bitter and angry as Quinny, in my DM posts. (LOL @ K-Bee)

    2) I will try to find something in this trash called "Today's Music" that I like.

    3) I will look hard for any Soul in Donna Summer's recordings. Even if I know I'll come up empty-handed. LOL

    4) I'll find some way to convert my wonderful record collection into crisp and clean mp3's.

    And most importantly:

    5) I will wait until Hillary Duff turns 18 to make sweet love to her! LMAO!

My resolution is to not be as affectionate towards so many of you on these boards.
    But seriously.

A revolution might be interesting. Resolutions never work out.

Here are some of my resolutions, most of which shall doubtlessly go unfulfilled...

    - Get a job closer to home
    - Get a home that doesn't cost me half my salary
    - Make some serious music, not just ambient porno soundtracks
    - Stop keeping track of how many times that woman in the next cubicle giggles each day (on average: 125! Tee hee hee!)
    - Make serious attempts to learn to drive
    - Do more audio restoration
    - Spend less time and money on Playstation games
    - Get an übergadget cell phone, with an MP3 player, camera, world domination software
    - Actually see my family more than twice a year
    - Lay off the spicy Korean instant noodles
    - Make a serious effort to pay down my credit cards
    - Complete my initiation rites for the bear community
    - Stop calling everyone "honey" or "chulo"
    - Respond to e-mails in less than six months

Me too! Should I give it a try? You know, psychology is very popular in Buenos Aires and I still get "that look" from friends who go to the shrink. Like "you think you're smart but you don't see your own faults, etc."
