Same here! I can get through but it looks like it's written in Japanese. E-mail me the file at FR1437@aol.com and I'll see if I can identify it for you.
WELCOME, Joey, and thanks for the confirmation. I never know if it's me and my crappy computer or if something else is going on. Nice to have you on board.Originally Written by JoeyCuz

**Dreamin\' about those disco lights**
Hey bboy_thachan,
I listened to your samples and I can't identify any of them.
I do have to ask, do you call that stuff Disco? It's just so awful; it sounded like background music from some really bad 70's movie. I can't even imagine dancing to any of it.
I wish you luck anyway.
Regards,
Alvaro

I showed this site to a lot of people...and I mean A LOT of people, nobody knew anything, but some of them did recommended this site, because you guys arent only experts in discomusic but also in other music, thats what i heard :P
so, please help me out with these samples! thanks to everybody who tried to identify these for me!
I was playing your samples when the server went down and kicked me out. Anyway, I recognized 2 pieces of music (not the artists) and one sample:
Sample03: Sounds like a remix/version of "E Man Boogie", originally by Jimmy Castor Bunch.
Woodo_Melody: An instrumental cover version "A.I.E. (A Mwana)", originally by Black Blood and later by Roberta Kelly.
Abgirl_proam: This contains a sample from Curtis Mayfield's "Superfly".
Just a thought for next time: That list of yours is intimidating in it's length. If they hadn't clicked open into a player and I was forced to download them, then I probably would not have listened to most. Maybe you should consider submitting unknown songs a few at a time instead of 'collecting' such a large number for identification.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
yeah i know there are a lot of samples but i thought the chances that someone would find any would be bigger....but ill rememeber it for the next time![]()
if anybody know more...please help!~
owyeah, that aie mwana song, you said its covered by roberta kelly.....what is the exact title of that song?
is it "roberta kelly - aie mwana"?
peace
The song is from Roberta Kelly's 1980 album on Baby Records (Italy) titled, Roots Can Be Anywhere. On the album, they simply call it "Aie". The original title is, "A.I.E. (A Mwana)". I know it looks odd but if you heard the vocals you'd get it real quick. :)Originally Written by bboy_thachan
