Oh, a bit same style like their remix of Superstar by The Ones then? Gotta check it!
Yes, the old Pink Floyd classic, covered by SS.... this record sounds like the Bee Gees singing over a fantastic electro-disco backing... love it! Check it out if you can... it's just been released as a 12" on the A Touch of Class label.

I was lucky enough to see them live on Saturday, they were great. Pete Burns (DOA) also made an appearance and sang with them..fantastic show.
I forgot to add..their first track was a version of Magnifique!
The S Sisters are from NYC like The Ones, if I remember correctly. What's happening there...? Give a short rewiew and reveal more songs of this kind, or a link where to browse more, please :P

I saw a photo of Pete Burns singing with SS at, I think 'The Cock' in Boyz magazine. I think the 'bear' bloke in the band looks very cute BTW!
...ya gotta beat the street......
Agree - he's hot :)
Womb Prayer!
I was more like curious about the related artist point of view... Well, I guess we'll have some clones soon enough at least :o
Ah, that would be Baby Daddy you're talking about. And not that I'm stalking him or anything but he hangs out at Marvellous in Brixton on a Sunday! :) Can't wait to hear the remixes of 'Filthy,Gorgeous'.
Yes, I heard it on the radio. No, I didn't like it at all. Yes, I also thougth of the Bee Gees. And yes, I was a Pink Floyd fan... I was a teenager when "The Wall" came out, and that record was something of a great experience to people my age at the time.
It's interesting how die-hard Pink Floyd fans can't see the funny side! Most Pink Floyd fans I've noticed hate this one! I think it's clever and very very funny! :D
Womb Prayer!
Of course, it's not that original an idea to do a dance version of Pink Floyd material; remember Rosebud?
...ya gotta beat the street......
No.
The idea may not be original (that's not what I meant), but it's a very interesting interpretation, you gotta admit! :D
Womb Prayer!
Oh yes, they are definitely one of the most interesting bands to emerge in a long time; so much so that they've given me hope that the pop music scene could be fun once again (I'm ever the optimist :-? )
...ya gotta beat the street......
Yep.... whatever happened to fun pop music??
Womb Prayer!
The accountants & profit-obsessed modern media types took over; don't get me into a rant on this topic 'cos I could go on all nite & I need my beauty sleep (trust me I need it now I'm about to have my 39th birthday & I'm about to start '40 therapy'! )
...ya gotta beat the street......
You left 40-therapy a bit late!
Womb Prayer!
Well I hope the fun returns aswell. And I acttually believe it will, the music must go on in circles like other cultural phenomenons. Funny childish like tunes have been out, but the fun should enter the production etc!
Scissor Sisters album is fantastic... I've haven't been this much a fan of a band since I was a teenager! They look like a pop group should and write catchy pop tunes... one sounds like a Toto pisstake, another sounds like Bowie, another like Elton, songs about prostitution and trannies ('Filthy & Gorgeous')..... it just doesn't get much better than this at the moment!!
gush, gush :D :D
Womb Prayer!
Prostitution & trannies? I'm a total fan!
...ya gotta beat the street......
Did anyone see 'em on the Jonathan Ross show last week? Jake's tight jeans left little to the imagination n'est pas?
