Actually, it's not even that cool. There's no vocoder involved, just running the signal through a very short delay with some feedback. It's the cheesiest way possible to create a "robot" voice.

So I take it you found the Bobby Rydell 12"? (NO THANKS TO ME!!!) I'm so sorry. It's still sitting under my desk in an envelope waiting to be mailed to you. But, everytime I told you I was gonna mail it--you insisted you had to pay for it, and honestly, I only paid .50 cents for it last November and I only bought it cause I saw you wanted a B. Rydell 12". Well, glad you found it and I apologize for my extremely bad manners in not mailing it to you a timely manner. I got your fax and have been perusing your lists for a few weeks. Hey listen send it to me when you can please please do as I got SWAY on Cd, thanks to a certain you-know-who-you-are ! A cd is perfect for home listening but a vinyl would be an extra thrill and enable me to spin the masterpiece in a club enviroment. And I'll pay make no mistake.

Is this the actual name of a 'new series' of CD's/vinyl being released of the Salsoul artists? Just curious... since I went out and bought the "Greatest Hits" volumes AND the "Gold Master" series.

Yep, the name of the series is Salsoul Dj Tools, and it's out on vinyl only. I've only got the one I mentioned but I'm glad to know as Sirius pointed out that there's more. Fab to see these sounds live on and on as they should!
