i was wondering if any of you knew the name of the song that starts at 8:10 with the funky bassline.

    Hi Fidelio,

Could be completely wrong but I guess it could be one of his own ugly edits. There is a sample of
Made In Usa/Melodies in there at least.

It is actually Made In The USA (an earlier incarnation of The Strikers). It's 'Never Gonna Let You Go', the first track on the LP.

It was re-edited by Harvey for his Black Cock label in the '90s and was also one of the earlier 'Ugly Edits's. leebradlee is correct.

The US copy says it's Nancy Martin and all the canadian releases mention her as being Nancy Martinez.
She was popular here with following hits:
    For tonight
    Maîtresse de tes rèves
    Move out
    So excited
    etc
If you buy this record your life, will be better.

America hadn't gone through it's "Ricky Martin" faze so they 'anglo-sized' the name hoping for more sales. Idiots! :x

Add this club hit to your list: "Take It Slowly".
