"SALSA" circa 1982?

I remember hearing a song in clubs, my first visit to NYC in March of 1982, called "Salsa". Obviously, it had a Latin sound to it, but I never heard it back home. Anybody remember this and can tell me the artist?

Maybe not such a long shot at all! It could easily have been recorded in 1981, plus I see an Instrumental side, and I remember its being an Instrumental! Thanks!
