OK no takers (unusual my quizes are soon rumbled by you experts)
Anyway here's another few more clues

Both Laura Lee & the instrumental Artists were both originally on the Ric-Tic Label & were subsequently re-released on Tamla Motown when Motown bought out Ric-Tic in 1968

The record became well known on the Northern Soul Circuit

So what record is it :D

Hi DJ-Pir yes very well done :D we are looking for the "San Remo Strings" or "San Remo Golden Strings" as they were originally known.

We still need the Title of the Song that was the instrumental version of "To Win Your Heart" but it should be fairly easy now

I've just discovered been leading you on, my memories not what it was  . The B Side was not Hungry for Love but "All Turned On" don't forget we are looking for the Tamla Motown release

The flipside to TMG795 "Festival time" is "All turned on", according
    to the motown catalogue.... 8)

It's not what you've got, it's how you use it,

    Hello there again DISCODISK :D
Sorry there i completly missed the fact there were 2 questions
I'll have a stab at it, was it Frank Wilson - Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)
I believe it was a much sought after record for many years until finally being released in the UK. If it was i didn't know it had Ric Tic origins.

I really don't know what premiered at the 100 club. As for the clue you gavea 'vocal' of possibly the no:1 northern instrumental of all time (obviously we all have our own favourites) but a great one i can remember that also had a vocal version was
Cigarette Ashes - Jimmy Conwell (instrumental)
That Beatin' Rhythm - Richard Temple
    (vocal)

If i'm wrong i really need some clues :-? :D

And it's also great to have some questions on this type of music
