I've recently been listening to this track by Sniff'n'The Tears from 1978. I think it's brilliant, but also seems a bit difficult to classify. Is it HiNRG, is it rock-disco, what?

I'm totally unfamiliar with this group, so am also wondering if this track is typical of their other work?

Also is the 12" version of the track available on any disco compilations or other albums?

I just purchased a 12 inch 'special re-mixed long version' of the track from 1980 clocking at 5:52. According to this site, there is a 'Best of' album appropriately titled 'A Best Of' that is said to contain the Driver's Seat 12" long version. At this url there is also more information available about the band.
