does any one remember KISS FM in NYC?? The mastermix's on Kiss were incredible at times. When did the station change because I have a live recording from 1993 on kiss fm.
98.7 Kiss (WRKS) was originally WXLO (99-X) throughout the 70s. In 1980 they switched over to a Disco later a more urban format in 1980 and became Kiss-FM. They would feature Shep Pettibone, Tony Humphries and others on Friday and Saturday nights.
Just a few short years ago (97/98?) they switched to a more Soul/R & B format, but they are still called 98.7 Kiss.
