FORRRCE ???????
I recently found a copy of this 12":
FORRRCE: Keep on dancin' on the obscure TRI label from 1980
This was later remixed by Francois Kevorkian and reissued on West End
Any reference to our disco-mate here ????

(Phew, I thought my time was up when I saw the thread title!!!).
Giovanni, I don't have anything to do with the group (though I can dream of being so funky). Yes, that's the original version, as mixed by Jack Nuber from Criteria sound in Miami. The b-side features the instrumental of their second single, 'Listen To The Rhythn Ban'' (sic.) which came out a short while before 'Keep On Dancin''. They were both among a mere handful of disco releases on Tommy Cowan's reggae label, Top Ranking International.
I couldn't really think of a name when I was contemplating joining this forum and 'Forrrce' came into my head - I rate the West End remix as being one of Francois K's best mixes and a true masterpiece of controlled, perfectly executed 'disco dub'. It's a serious bit of kit.
Incidentally, Forrrce were originally MD-20-20 - they first recorded 'Listen To The Rhythm Band' (correctly spelt) in 1976 and it's a seriously tripped-out affair. Now, go find!!!! :D
