What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?
Thank You Forrce! It's good to see that so you and so many others have total recall.
I have not mentioned it before but this forum is great. I have gained much knowledge just by reading the threads and other areas. Keep up the good work ALL!
Hey MixMaster, if it helps, Smack Dab In The Middle (Larry Levan Remix 12") can be found on the following CD - Disco Connection: authentic disco 1976-1981
The CD is remaster PERFECTLY with superb sound, also featuring Kleeer, Candi Staton, Change, Undisputed Truth, and other greats!! Buy this! :D
Thanks to  all. I can't beleive I did not find this forum until recently. I can't say enough about the help and knowledge that is being given here. All I can say is that a once closet Disco maniac is once again enjoying the magic of Disco.
Glad to hear that you found what you were looking for. Spread the word about DiscoMusic.com!Originally Written by MixMasterMax

Although the Disco Connection CD is good, the labeling regarding "Smack Dab In The Middle" should read: A Larry Levan Remix EDIT. The version on the CD runs about 4:11 while the actual 12" runs 6:48. I guess if you don't have the song at all it's fine but I find it annoying.
NickNack, it must be annoying but it's all good, keep it in perspective. I am trying to catch up on 25 years of neglect. Although I enjoyed the
disco era, I have not been close to it for soooo many years. I am trying to get songs I remember and have some meaning to that era for me. It's
funny how time, kids and a wife can have such a profound change.
Take Smack Dab In THe Middle for instance. I remember with such clarity. I met this fine young lady at a club, we danced to this song and
decided to go outside for some fresh air and to smoke a "J". I lit the thing, took some and handed it to her. Just then someone startled her and
she drooped the damn thing in between the windshield wiper and the hood of a parked car. I tried like hell to pull it out but could not. How can
you forget something like that.
Peace,
Max
