http://www.petitiononline.com/lof1a/petition.html is the link to voice your opinion through a petition that yours truly created to Power 105, formerly Jammin 105.

It might not make a difference, but you'll let yourself be heard.

I admire your commitment to the cause, LoF, but I'm skeptical that a media monster like Clear Channel really gives a crap what we little guys think--not unless we can somehow deliver rating$ and adverti$ing dollar$.

As I wrote in a previous post, the exact same thing happened here in Pittsburgh--Clear Channel dropped its "Jammin' Oldies" format for hip hop--and I sent e-mail to make my displeasure known (no response) and changed radio stations the next day.

But, in a weird coincidence, a few weeks later my name was announced on the air by the same station in its listen at work contest. Luckily, a friend of mine was listening where she works and called to tell me, and I called the station and won $107! (Of course, I haven't seen a check yet. Hey Clear Channel...!)

It won't get me to switch back, but it's kinda like a consolation prize, huh?

The consolation prize is always the parting gift as a thank you. If more people like us voice their displeasure, something more than just being heard may happpen someday.

Let's hear some more views from this topic.

You'll be heard even though the difference has been set.

    The Classics will live forever!
