hi everyone,
i just heard a song last night on the radio that sampled carrie lucas "gotta keep dancing". just the string part, i cant remember any of the lyrics though.
anybody know this track???

"I gotta keep dancin" has been sampled by the Rythm Junkeez 5 or 6 years ago in their song "Theme from Talamanca".
But it's an all instrumental song, except in the intro where "Rythm Junkeez" is repeated a few times.

I don't know that one, but its interesting you brought this up because I've recently heard disco songs being used as the sources of samples. Most are aware that Janet Jackson sampled Change's "The Glow of Love" but TLC sampled Silver Convention's "Fly Robin Fly" and an artist named Brand Nubian has ALSO sampled a Silver Convention song ("Heart of Stone").
