in the mid 70s new york city got a taste of 2 gems by a jazz singer named arthur prysock.. his only 2 disco songs.."when love is new" and " Between hello and goodbye"were mellow disco tempo songs similar to the ones lou rawls had.. very smooth soulful disco.. ck it out disco heads

I was just listening to "between" today, both were produced by John Davis and released on 12",good stuff.

called "You Can Do It", which was also sung

by DOBIE GRAY.

Then there is a nice LP called from 1977

called "ARTHUR PRYSOCK DOES IT AGAIN" with

the song ""Between Hello And Goodbye".
