my friends got this lp and its called dogs of war and there is no vocals and it is just driving disco i read the producers names and they dont sound very recognisable did they do anything else?

i will have to get back to you on that one the vinyl back at my mates house il have to call him and get the names but they were very european or italian names the cover was red and black with gothic looking dogs on the cover holding knives or axes or something .i had too many disco biscuits onthe weekend and i just cant remember me and my friend played underground disco all nite

DOGS OF WAR is a canadian release back from 1977. It is a GREAT instrumental disco album, with lot of percussions and spacey synths. It is produced by Pat DeSerio and released in Canada on GEN records. It includes great disco works like "Spaciula", "Future jungle" and "Love pirate".
By the way, this is a very indemand album and not so easy to find.
Pat DeSerio was a prolific canadian producer. He is responsible for many canadian classics by the likes of Kebekelektrik, Bombers, Bob-a-Rela and more

cheers giovanni .you sais it exactly im really into spacey disco sounds without alot of vocals even though vocals are always needed sometimes to create emotion and paint pictures but the driving basslines and non stop whirling sounds for some reason create other worldy atmosheres. its sounds as though you really know your stuff
