    This week's 10

I've Got To Find A Way / Zena DeJonay
It's My Life / Talk Talk
Rock Your World / Weeks & Co.
Annie, I'm Not Your Daddy / Kid Creole
Just In Time / Raw Silk
Do It To the Music / Raw Silk
You Can't Run From My Love / Stephanie Mills
Baby I'm Scared Of You / Womack & Womack
    Blind Vision / Blancmange
    C'mon Stop / Black Gold

As you see, it's early 80s stuff recently purchased thanks to copies of the Billboard charts from Forum member Giovanni. Except for Kid Creole and the Womacks, it's all new to me. Although I went dancing a lot in the late 70s (underage clubs), I was in college in the 80s and didn't get out as much. I'm especially intoxicated with the Zena DeJonay track, someone so obscure that even allmusic.com doesn't have anything on her. ComKing: I love the KID and Herbie Mann tracks, and anything by the excellent Ms. Staton. Several unfamiliar titles in your list, but that's the wonderful thing--no matter how much disco I have, there's always more!

This week it looks like this for me (in no particular order):

    Dayton - Out Tonight
    Tarralyn Ramsey - Unconditional Love
Michael Jonzun - Im Burnin' Up
Curtis Hairston - I Want You All Tonight
Bobbi Humphrey - No Way (Feat. Marcus miller & Stevie Wonder)
Soulplanet Jazz Ensemble Feat. Xavier - sugar baby Darling
Jeanette lady Day - Come Let me Love You
Cece Rogers - Join Hands (original 12" version)
Karen Clark Sheard (of the clark sisters) - A Praying Spirit

Well there you have it....an odd mix of 80s disco, comtemporary gospel, soulfull house and with the occasional jazz funk track thown in.
    There was life after disco!!
