1. Ray Parker Jr. % Raydio - For Those Who Like To Groove
Hi, I hope someone can help my ID 3 tracks for me, there all disco and -I think- late '70s
a-part.mp3 (700kb) style is Gap Band and it's from a reel recorded in a club.
f-part.mp3 (700kb) this one is from a cassette-tape I used to have. Some ppl say it's 'Lectric Funk.
p-part.mp3 (700kb) same source as the first. Almost certain I used to have this one on vinyl.
The style is very like Gino Soccio (producing it?).
The track is one of my all time favorites..And I can't remember who this is.. :( (frustrating..)
Thanks for your time.

Hi __Pulse__, WELCOME TO THE BOARD
You're right about # 3. It's Gino Soccio doing "Rhythm of The World". One of very few good cuts on his S-Beat album.
I could be mistaken but #2 has that Jacques Fred Petrus sound. If I'm right, one of his fans here will give you the title. :)
Thanks for the #3 (had a feeling it was him) forgot about this one for meany years until i've heard it yesterday.. and it's being a 24hr search....
Weird, my search on the www gives noting on that track (and why it's not on "the best of...."(have that one) beats me completly  )
Thanks again!

 "Sexy Thrills" is the side I like, too, which means I never would have found the 12" cause it's filed under "E", not "F". Database --- where are you? :oops:Originally Written by Bernie
Same here Nicky, I have mine filed under "E" for Extensive Care's track.

What 12" has both those tracks on one? The 2 Extensive Care records I know of is one 12" with Sexy Thrills and on the B Side Disco Squeeze, and then the one I got which is the Extensive Care EP which has Sexy Thrills, Do It Like This, Disco Squeeze and Strict Blonde Chick (both on Uniwave Records Canada imports). I been after that Five Letters track for a while! Was that the USA pressing?
