I still have this album. It's 'cute', nothing to rave about. Had two or three cuts good enough for club use if the crowd was really in a Holiday mood. Why CBS is "hiding" behind their street address should tell you something.

My fave disco Christmas piece is still:

AVI-12-242-D: "DISCO SANTA CLAUS" BY RAINDOLLS b/w "SANTA'S THEME" (instrumental of Side 1)

    Tis the night to disco

mixtape, I found this old post and can't believe someone else has heard this tape. I've tried everything, even emailing CBS archives and nothing!! Do you have any idea where i could find an original copy of tis the night to Disco?

Only bought 1 dance-x-mas-album in my life and played it 2 times, so...

It was Alexander O' Neal's "My gift to you".

what about Salsoul Orchestra's xmas album???

I still listen to it, "Christmas time is here" feat. Denise Montana... how much better can it get!

Sleigh Ride on this lp is one awesome piece of funky Christmas music. I would dance to this all year long. :D

VS: You should try the Salsoul stuff. It really is good. And you should try and find the second lp if only to hear Jocelyn Brown do her thing on, "You're All I Want for Christmas". I've played this every year since I first bought it.

Also dont forget the rather hard to find Montana Orchestra "Merry Christmas" LP

    http://www.discomusic.com/cds-more/3511_0_3_0_C/

Basicly it's a more punchier rerecording of some of the stuff from the Christmas Jollies LP and some new material not on that one. Also..those are the only 2 Xmas records I own

On a more modern note, Christina A's "The Christmas Song" really rocks a dancefloor. I hope it will be a classic for Christmas.
