    Disco Music.ComVention

Maybe one day, Bernie will organise an all expenses payed trip for the 'board members to meet one another at the first Disco Music. ComVention. We can all get to see how ugly the others are (and you can all see how pretty I am) and find out where we're all coming from. What you say, Bernie - is that your piggy bank I hear shakin'?!

We all know what Bernie and Nicky look like, so let's meet some of the other regulars:

L-R: Giovanni, Markydefad, Ladyboysrimsby, Quinny, e_funkadelic, DJ Philip Esparza, Graham Start (the last two got off lightly).

Oh, yeah, Bernie - Miami would be nice!

    Quinny,
You're 'you' 'cause 'you're' the oldest and most pugnacious looking one there - sorry you had to be the ugliest to boot!

    Bumblebee,
I'm into all things Adams, Carmichael and Bumblebee...you are not alone. :D

    Bernie,
I don't have any webspace and there aren't any pictures of myself on the web that I know of, so you're all safe...for now. :D

Forrrce: Me pugnacious? Step outside and roll yer sleeves up!

I don't think I am the oldest around here, but possibly of the ones credited and for a 51 year old not looking too bad.

    Forrrce,

Thank you a lot for making me the younger of the Band!!!

To be true, I am thinking for a long time now to a convention.

Everyone of us could play a one-hour dj set for the enjoiment of the others: at least 100 regulars here will play 100 hours of disco  ..... Bernie should rent a place for a week or so and we come to play  .... New York, Miami, London, Ibiza :o .... wherever this board would decide...... and then we could make a 50 CDs compilation......

    Quinny,
I suppose you owe me a proverbial bop on the nose now - and I'm sure you'll pick your moment to deliver :o . At least Giovanni's happy with his insult!

I know it's not really workable, but it's not too far fetched an idea. It would just be very interesting to meet the faces behind the keyboards.

Forrrce: Just remember, no one understands me and I'm a pussycat. I honestly don't have a malicious streak in me, so you can post here safe in the knowledge that I don't like eating cold meals. I just post for fun.

    I have the perfect location.
The St. Lucia Jazz Festival. Beautiful island, lotsa Jazz and Soul/Disco bands to go and watch if the DJ marathon got boring.
We could be an 'alternative' fringe freak show (especially if any of us live up to the photo)!!!!

    Bring on De Sound Seeeestem.

Last night I was browsing the forum as a friend came over. Then I opened this topic and voilá! I just read the first lines above the photo and thought IT WAS FOR REAL! :o
My friend wanted to chat and I had to disconnect right then. I went to bed thinking the meeting had taken place!
Then I got up and logged in. Obviously, first thing I looked for was this thread. Phew! :D
Before that, my thoughts were a bit like this:
    1) How come these guys are so old? :)
    2) How come they all seem so serious?
    3) How come Giovanni is so young?
    4) How come Quinny is so ugly? :)
    and last but not least:
    5) What the hell they had done for lunch? :P

    Brilliant, Nano -
It's nice that the thread suckered someone as well! :D
I have to admit, I do feel guilty about giving Quinny such a bad lot, but don't tell him!
