Number 3 is poet Rod McKuen's "Mon Amour Mon Ami". A raspy voice sort of sings and a dramatic chorus hollers over slowish beats, right?
looking for 5 songs heard on an old tape my friend gave me. It is mixed. Reminds me of the Bensonhurst days of '78. Well the songs in order are:
1. "...through love, i will find a meaning in life, but the rain must flow down tonight, and like a river that flows to the sea, oh yea the river must flow from me..." Songs like the one of the Bee Gees.
2. "sometimes its lying on a beach or down in ally out of reach just trash i love it, trash, what other people through away, a try to save for a rainy day, just trash i love it, trash,....trash, trash is everything to me..." Also is the style of the Bee Gees.
3. "mon amor mon ami, must ??? mon ami, mel if we go to heaven, if we go to hell, we got friends in both places so were gonna be treated well...then it hot in heaven, then its cold in hell, then its a bor and ??? if ure not with me mel..."
4. "....you got a save me, save me, if only you can get me warm above the storm, you got a save me, save me...."
5. "....first come, first serve, if it hurts your pride boy all you got to do is say..."
Thanks!!!! :D
If you could tell me the years and the label and or LP there on that would be great!!!! Thanks so much
