I was smiling at your clues because as anyone will tell you there must be hundreds of disco songs with the words, "it's hot". That said, here's my guess: Pamela Stanley, "It's Hot". Can't remember the year but hey, we might get lucky. :)

Pamala Stanley's song is actually called "This is hot" It's from 1979, the LP is also called "This is hot". And yes, that's no typo, her name is spelt Pamala! :roll:
