I'll second that emotion.Remember Stars On 45.Yeeeech!It was that sort of exploitation by disco that turned some people off.Originally Written by NickNack
Different eyes see different things. Different hearts beat on different strings. But there are times for you and me when all such things agree...Rush
About the Beatles Medley. I was shocked when stars on 45 put out their version. The big problem with the disconett was we used the real beatles. there would have been too many people to pay, so it only came out for the DJ's. One thing you should know is that Stars on 45 was released on Radio records in Ft lauderdale Fl. Take a guess where I'm from ??? Did they steal my idea ? HUMMMMMMMM
Mixtape, agreed. It is a killer medley. I want to eventually buy it, as it is currently available on modern media.
I remember hearing it on one of the uber sound systems on the west coast (the club used Phase Linear amps and accompanied with wonderful base cabinets).
Nice of you to bring the topic up. Definitely worth discussion. In fact, after reading this post, it makes me even more hungry to get the medley.
