First Choice's "Let No Man Put Asunder"

I recently acquired "Disco Boogie Vol. 2" on vinyl and I finally got to hear the original 1977 version of First Choice's "Let No Man Put Asunder". Did the trio re-record that song for the 1983 Shep Pettibone remix?? Their vocals on the 1977 version are different; they seem more lilting. Also, during the break of this version, the lead singer's rap is slightly different.

I love this album. Walter Gibbons' mixing is excellent!! And it's a Tom Moulton Mix!!

    First Choice Remix

The Shep Pettibone Remix of "Let No Man Put Asunder" by First Choice was his best remix ever in my opinion. The voices were recorded over along with its arrangement.
Keep the faith and everything will come your way as time marches on!
