    Strange disco sleeves

    1) The Giorgio Moroder's solo work "Knights With Satin" (1976): five men are looking a bearded man (Giorgio?) with respect and admiration. A transparent light invades the palatial room. God? Nero?

    2) Revanche and the Music Man's sleeve (1979): four sailors and a black woman in the darkness. One of the saylors is almost making love with the black woman. Cover concept: Jacques Fred Petrus.

You know, I always thought that was a sauna room... only they are dressed in white satin instead of white towels.

However, no one beats Cerrone for strange covers. Remember that smashed beer can in the floor of "Cerrone's Paradise"... is that foam or white powder? 8) And how no one cleaned the girls' feet in "Love in C Minor"? Seems like they had done 80 shots already.
    And SUPERNATURE???? :o :o :o
BTW, what's that white thing Cerrone has in his hand?
Credits say: "cover imagined by Cerrone and P. Perroquin" (the photographer of "Cerrone's Paradise"). Should I add... "with the aid of some mushrooms"?
It don't mean a thing (if ain't got that swing)

Yes, Nano, I also thought of Cerrone's Covers ! :D

"Cerrone's Paradise" - Obviously the white powder symbolizes cocaine.
"Supernature" (Cerrone 3) - I think those "animals" represent monsters, there's just a poetry on the cover:

    the monsters came
    made you realize your shame
    it's so sad
you lost the only world you had

    to have peace and harmony
    nature must be living free
    every creature has its place
    that includes the human race

But I agree, Cerrone sometimes is very enigmatic, there's a sound of toilet on "Rocket In The Pocket". Is the French Police coming? :D

    Give me love :D

About that poem... it seems even some disco artists wanted to have a "concept" record on those days :)

The beer can thing in "Cerrone's Paradise" is quite subtle... in the back cover, it's clear the white thing is just beer foam. But on the front, maybe my local edition has poor photography, but it seems like white powder really, huh? I wonder if someone catched that one in 1977. Any return of copies from retailers featured in the pages of Billboard?

The disco song "Cerrone's Paradise" can be very uncomfortable when someone (including Cerrone himself, I guess) looks smell something many times. Cocaine ??? Love whispers ??? Nobody knows. "Cerrone's Paradise" is truly wonderful, I really like this tune, the sax solo, etc. I'll create a thread called "Disco Cocaine Anthem":

"Let's Get It Together" by El Coco :D :D :D.
    Just kidding :D :D :D .
