Indie Release [Level 4]
They were a post-punk group from Liverpool. My favourite of theirs (and the most playable in a club) is probably African & White.
Gold Record [Level 7]
Excellent group, who had some serious hits in the UK during the early and mid '80s. My faves (if anyone cares) are "Christian", and the superb "Black Man Ray" from 1985. They were sort of like OMD (Orchestral Manouvres in the Dark - pretentious name or what), and would mix synth-pop sensibilities with serious musical and lyrical content.
