Peaches & Herb's "Shake Your Groove Thing"

Does anybody know if the version of this song where at the intro they sing "There's nothing more that I'd like to do, then take the floor and dance with you" appeared on vinyl?? I heard this version only twice. First, on a January 1979 "American Bandstand" and in the movie "Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert".

First pressings of the US lp featured this mix... within a few months after it came out the lp was remastered to feature the version with the percussion intro.

Are the two versions the same length? I have the first one in a CD compilation called Yesterdisco, but it fades out at 3:53, while the most known version clocks in 5.45 on the LP.
It don't mean a thing (if ain't got that swing)

This is interesting. My version of the LP (german pressing) has a 5:29 version of the song. Wonder how many we actually know of??
    There was life after disco!!
