Hi Nano,
Pulled out my album and on the liner notes it says
"Dave Crawford sings with Candi Staton on"I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" "
I think it was Com King the one who's nuts about Ms. Staton. I have two LPs, House of love (1978) and C.S. (1980), this last one a bit lame IMHO but she has a wonderful voice. House of love is very good!
My question is: who is the guy singing with her in "I'm gonna make you love me"? (side B track 2 in House of love). Have a local edition and can't find him in the credits. Nice duet, indeed...
It don't mean a thing (if ain't got that swing)

Dave Crawford is also listed as one of the keyboard players on this album along with Ron Coleman. He also wrote 4 of the songs on the album.Victim,Honest I Do Love You,I Wonder Will I Ever Get Over It and So Blue.

Nano you're not far from the truth. In fact I fell in love with her the very moment I heard "Victim" for the first time. I'm a victim of the very song she sings.
Originalbigm is absolutely right. Dave Crawford is not only the privileged guy that sang "I'm gonna make you love me" with my future wife, he's also the man who wrote "Victim". And for that I'm forced to thank him.
I\'m a Victim ( of th very Song I sing )
