Platinum Record [Level 8]
The other day while browsing in a record store, I found a cd with a song called "Smoke Your Troubles Away" by The Glass Family. I didn't buy it.
Is anyone familiar with this song? Is it fast, slow or mid-tempo? Was it a big hit?
Platinum Record [Level 8]
It's a midtempo track and it's GREAT - run back and buy it. If you're not completely satisfied sell it to me. Smoke...was selected by Rolling Stone magazine music critic Barry Walters as an example of wonderful sleaze for the Seattle disco expo last year.
Underground Hit [Level 5]
It is probably the best thing the Glass Family ever did (not that difficult, I know). The vocalist is Taka Boom (Chaka's sister). It is pretty funky, I'd guess around 112/115 bpm, from memory.
Leather is the way forward!
