Does anyone remember a UK 7" by Disco Dick? It is called "Do it yourself disco" and a piss taking instructions on how to make a disco record. I wondered who was behind it, sounds like it could almost be Chaz and Dave.

I thought this thread was gonna be about something else... "disco dick" is slang here in Melbourne for when you've been indulging in illicit substances, are standing at the urinal in a club trying to pee.... and nothing happens! :lol:

No - seriously, Leatherman is talking about a genuine record here. It's a single from the late '70s (I think) and starts with a drum beat, then the producer or engineer tells the band what to do throughout the track.

And it really could be Chas 'N' Dave...
