King of Italo disco - Claudio Simonetti?

I was just interested who else feels so strongly that Claudio Simonetti was a main man responsible for shaping a good part of our musical tastes and produced an incredible sound that was way before his time. From what I've heard so far, his different faces such as Capricorn, Easy Going, and especially Kasso, do it for me like few others have. I'm interested in hearing some other opinions, and other great moments he's had that I may not know about. What are your favorite tracks?

I've met Claudio Simonetti once in London a couple of years back, such a nice guy. His TENEBRE soundtrack is a must - can't think of more effective merging of image and music than the scene from that film during which the camera suddenly starts to climb up a wall and proceeds to circle the house until the terrorized girl rips the vinyl off the turntable. Brilliant.

    HI, BR11209..
(text below using a translation software, spanish to english, sorry mistakes)
Claudio Simonetti, (maybe not the unico King)BUT REALLY produced an incredible sound that was way before his time.
En Español: Claudio Simoneti, produjo un increible sonido que fue adelantado a su tiempo, epoca, era (para finales de los 70's)

    you have razon .....
    I knew this :) , on 1979, when I bouthg Easy Going " FEAR"
When I listen for the first time "FEAR", I to do not understand anything in english languaje, then all the voices were a same rhythm with the song music, this effect I have discussed it in forums but of Hispanic speech (Spain), where the letter of a song does not affect the apreciacion of their rhythm... ( it passes since always)
For me, Easy Going, ("FEAR") were a type of late 90's / now 00's "Dance/Trance music", but in the past..
like, Giorgio Moroder or Cerrone ....

thanks for this post, ... :D

    King's ?:
    Cerrone
    Giorgio M.
    Claudio Simonetti
