    NO! I like love is only on her self titled album from 1978.
    What a great track!!! Back then I played it soooo maaany times that my copy was trash after a few months. And yes, people danced to it!!!
    When I recently heard that sample I felt like someone stole another piece of my heart.

    What was it sampled on?

    I can't think of where it's sampled--I love that song!

    There is a track by Solitarre that samples/covers this - it is dreadful!

    I like "High Society" and "Sorrecer" by young Norma!

    The Solitaire track (also called "I like love") may or may not be to your taste, but it has some pleasing side effects:

    1. It's keeping the disco sound in today's charts (regrettably, not in the UK yet though) and is a darned sight better IMO than the wall-to-wall hip-hop stuff in the charts at the moment;

    2. I first heard the Solitaire track on holiday in Majorca (Spain) on the radio. Despite having thousands of disco MP3s and hundreds of disco CDs and LPs, I had never heard all the tracks on the Norma Jean LP. When I got back to the UK I was desperate to find out what the sample was, and a quick search using Google gave me the answer. Now I have all the tracks on the Norma Jean LP!

    As far as turning you onto the superior original, yes I suppose it served some of purpose for you there.

    I dissagree with you other point as it isn't a disco record, just a cheesy, noisy mess that happens to rip off it's chorus from a disco record. Gimme Beyonce anyday! :x
