In 1979, RCA launched the industry's first lines of Disco Cassettes. At $3.98, the cassettes offered the same wholesale breakdown as the 12 inch disco single. The first disco cassette releases included current product and past hits from Vicki Sue Robinson, Evelyn "Champaigne" King, Dolly Parton, Shalamar, Grey & Hanks, Odyssey, The Brothers, Gichy Dan, Buffalo Smoke, Bumble Bee Unlimited, Machine, Lakeside and Carrie Lucas. The cassettes apparently were different mixes than the 12 inch per the article from 1979. Does anyone have any of these?
