Does anyone know if "Disco Circus" by Martin Circus is available on CD? It's one of the best disco songs ever and I can't seem to find it on CD. I know that many disco classics are now available on CD, but I can't seem to find this one. Does anyone know if it is or was ever released on CD format?

My favorite track of Martin Circus is "Ite missa est". I have the Vogue Records album with that track on red see-through vinyl, but one terrible night, coming home from a DJ-gig, the bag with albums was lying against the transmission tunnel of my VW Bug and... and... a little fold melted into the outer rim. DISASTER!

Havn't been able to replace that album. Was it a soundtrack, the inner sleeve suggests a French summer movie???

Any information gladly accepted - CD release, album info, where to find a used copy, etc.

Never released on CD. Over in the USA it was on a self titled LP "Martin Circus" with a bondage type girl on the cover. It had Disco Circus

    Ist Miss Est

    Before It Gets Dark

I am still trying to track down a copy of this LP. I had it on Ebay but I got out bid and lost it.

I have 2 12" singles of the full version in my collection 33 1/3 RPM both in great shape I believe. Great disco classic. Could somebody post a picture of the album cover?

The single sleeve was generic crap if I recall. I do however have the original Mandolay La Flavor Album with the girl on the cover licking the Ice Cream Cone. Cool cover.

As far as the disco circus CD I'm sure some disco fan would just love to burn a few copies. Great for mixing. My "Wheels of Steel" are getting rusty. Everything seems to be going to hard drives and those little cd mixers which are actually pretty cool and a lot less heavier than SL 1200's

It's already on this site in the Disco Vault under "M."

When in doubt, please search the rest of this site. There's tons of stuff that I have posted over the years.

I agree! Martin Circus, was one of my favorite albums from Prelude. The remix version of Disco Circus was very good also.
Keep the faith and everything will come your way as time marches on!
