Well, I don't remember saying that--but, if ya wanna give me credit, what the hell!
I think the general supposition was that the Cruise/Cruz "romance" would be over once "Vanilla Sky" had opened around the world and the loving couple didn't have any more premieres to attend or publicity to do.
A romance of convenience, indeed, and a way to make Nicole look like the odd woman out.
