Does any one remember Disco 92 (WKTU FM)

I was just wondering what exactly was Disco 92. When I found out that there actually used to be a KTU many years ago I was shocked. If any one can tell me about I would indeed appreciate it! Oh yea what was like the popular song from that station? Thank you!

    I do bit - '78?
My parents house was on a high hill in central Massachusetts
and when the weather and atmospheric conditions were right I could pick it up on my transistor radio! They were contemporary with KISS 108 in Boston.

I work with a fellow who is originally from Bayridge Brooklyn
    and:

    1. He managed a real estate office that was next door to the hardware store that was used in "Saturday Night Fever" during filming. What stories!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    2. His oldest son "lived" at 2001 Odyssey during the same time frame.

    3. Both of his sons had a very lucrative contract promoting
KTU Disco concerts all over the NYC area during '77 and '78.
They had a great time, made a lot of money and met many of the great Disco acts of the day.

    No bullshit all true. :D

    WKTU

Oh yes. What a wonderful station. The first station to beat WABC to #1 in NYC in many years.

They had good jocks and played good music. Paco was a draw for women listeners with his heavy Puerto Rican accent and sexy male style.

I had many good hours listening to KTU Disco 92. The time went by so quickly.
