Whitburn's HOT DANCE/DISCO out this NOVEMBER

I don't think I've seen this info announced here yet. Joel Whitburn has sent out the flyers for pre-order sales of the long awaited HOT DANCE/DISCO Chart book. Yup, covering Billboards Club Play charts from 74-03.

As a longtime Disco Music fan,I have been waiting for a book like this for ages. Regular price is 49.95. I believe there is an online site for Whitburn's Record Research, for those who do not recieve the flyers.

Who here intends to buy this book, besides me? I think it's important to purchase this book, so that it alerts publishers, record industry folk, etc, how much we love our Dance/Disco history. Just having a book to put Dance/Disco history all in one place,is a great achievement. Hopefully it will be easier for compilers of compilations to see what was huge in the club scene and get it out their on the market..

Me! Me! Me! I've been waiting on this book since 1998 when I first heard they would be publishing it. I've even got some CD's that announced the book was coming out in early 2000. Apparently they had other books that took precident over this.

I think it will be a nice reference guide.

I'll wait 'til it's published and available at places such as Barnes and Noble, Books A Million, or Amazon.com. You should be able to get more than a $5.00 discount at that time. I don't mind waiting, I've waited this long, so what's another few days? Thanks!!!
