At a typical Cher concert, the legendary singer is apt to change costumes ? including her signature wigs ? seven or eight times. She?ll appear as a barbarian queen, a futuristic space babe and as a version of her own sequin-gown clad self from the old Sonny And Cher days. If Cher remodels herself that often during a regular tour stop, we can?t even imagine what tricks she?ll have up her sleeve for a Halloween show.

Cher will be in Toronto on October 31 for a Halloween Spectacular at the Skydome Skytent. She?ll be joined by an all-star line-up that will include The Village People, Sister Sledge, Thelma Houston and others. They?re promising lots of extra surprises and Cher also "urges her fans to join in the party spirit" and encourages concert goers to arrive in costume.

The concert isn?t special just because of the Halloween theme ? it?ll also be the 200th and final show of Cher?s Living Proof Farewell Tour and thus her last North American show ever. Ever! Cher has chosen Toronto as the site for the show because she rehearsed in the city before the tour began and played the first show of the tour at T.O.?s Air Canada Centre on June 14, 2002. Since then, Cher has been touring non-stop, making stops across the U.S. as well as Vancouver, Montreal, London, Calgary and Saskatoon. Her Miami show was filmed for a TV special that aired this spring. That program is now available on video and DVD.

Tickets for Cher?s Halloween Spectacular go on sale Monday, September 22 through all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets will cost $49.50 or $89.50 plus all the applicable charges.
