    Hello everyone,

I take it those beauracratic assholes got the best of us and made Bernie close Dance Groove Radio. They don't think it's enough that they f**k up the amendment of freedom of speach to a certain extent, now they stop a great thing that wasn't hurting anyone and actually promoting classic artists that have not had play in years. Even introducing them to a whole new audience. Bernie's program turned me on to alot of disco I was unaware of and I now have in my collection. He also got my mixes some airplay(having problems getting on at a club, no openings I guess?). It was a great thing and those bastards ended it. Well, at least we still have the site and the board to talk amongst ourselves. There is other ways we can discover unknown disco stuff that the suits can't stop(and I'm sure you all know what I mean). Anyway, going to go for now and check out the rest of the board. Take care everyone.

Whoa, Jimmy M and the rest of us are out to make the Big Willie's feel the heat!

For the short, period of time that I've been on DiscoMusic.com, I found not only the forums as a way for informative discussion, but DanceGroove Radio's introduction to DJ's and their mixes.

The genre of Disco Music is an art form that will live and die in our memories; That's something that the Big Willie's can't take away from us.

    DAMN RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The "Big Willies" can't take any of that from us. Groove Radio (technecly Bernie, thanx bro) got my art aired to the world. I will be spinning in a club some day as soon as I can find an opening that needs a retro DJ. I can spin the new stuff as well and slip in a deep classic somewhere and the kids today wouldn't know the difference(LOL beings I just past the kid stage about 5 years ago. I just got to hear this stuff at a Retro Club and the net just expanded my knowlage and am still learning). Well, as long as those asswipes can't take this away from us then it'll be all good. It is very sad though that it came to this.

Learning is a requirement to acquire knowledge.

Take advantage of this craft and you won't be left behind. Your dreams won't turn into your worst nightmare once you realize that the negativity of the Big Willie's won't damper your quest to become the best.

Well thanx for the advise and I agree. I will continue to make mixed tapes(CD's soon) and send them to various chat buddies on the net and I will be selling them as well once I get going. I'll be also learning more about the true underground disco until I learn it all as if I was there.
