Best From Artist 56 - Trammps

There were lots of times I wanted to have thes guys for BFA. Coincidentally however, someone would already start a topic on them so I had to pass. Now's my chance :D
Yes, my obvious choice here is "Disco Inferno." The first time I heard this was at a VFW party. I knew then I was officially hooked to disco. I never tire of hearing this song. On that same album I also like "Body Contact Contract."

    My favourites:
Zing Went The Strings Of My Heart
    Trusting Heart
    Love Epidemic
The Night The Lights Went Out
    Disco Inferno
I consider them as one of the all time great disco groups

"Where The Happy People Go" will always remind me of my first few months in SF at Buzzby's on Polk Street. It's an anthem for the whole movement. :D

From that same LP, I'd also choose "Disco Party" ("disco, party, dance people dance...let the good times roll/ let the rhythm feed your soul"). I have fond memories of dancing to this one which prompted me to buy the LP. (ALL cuts are excellent.)

"Hold Back The Night" is my fave from them.

I must confess, I never liked "Disco Inferno". And it's soooo damn long! I cringe whenever they pull this one out at retro night...

    Hi Paul :D

    I like:
"That's Where The Happy People Go"
    "Soul Searchin' Time"

"Disco Inferno" has been overplayed throughout the years therefore it loses points, yet I still consider it a favorite.

Disco Inferno has got to be the definitive disco song!! It just drips what disco music is all about - Rhythm and Soul. Man those breaks are the best - plenty of time to go to the bar for a drink or chat up a girl or have a pee or even a crap!!!

All the best and Get the funk outta my face!

I have a few favorites, but "Where Do We Go From Here?" would be at the top of the list.

"Where Do We Go From Here" for Gallery memories of Nicky Siano coming out of a slow set with this one. Everything was quiet until those girls said, "Please tell me", then the dancefloor would erupt.

    Honorable mentions:

    Soul Searchin' Time
    Disco Party
    Stop and Think
And, yes... Disco Inferno. Too hot to ignore although it's been played to death.
