I know " C Is For Cookie" from the Sesame Street Fever L.P. (1978).

    Funny lyrics :

I like "Happiest Street In The World" from the Sesame Disco LP (sounds very Ian Levine) and Robin Gibb's "Trash" on the Sesame Street Fever LP (too bad this one wasnt made as a diff song using the same music and diff lyrics..woulda been a great hustle/bump track). Also, about these disco mixes of "C Is For Cookie"..whats the difference in them from the LP? I never heard em, I know the time on the Larry Levan one is the same as the LP. Can anyone inform?

The Sesame Street Fever 12" is actually better than the LP mix - Roy Thode's version is on the a-side (though doubtless the Levan mix will grace the a-side of the re-issue) and if you can stand the Cookie Monster, quite hard and funky - a proper disco mix with a thumpin' Philly style drum break in the last quarter and wah-wah/percussion strip-downs. Levan's mix is smoother and more musical, but less successful to me. :)

Ok sounds good! Where can I find the reissue at? From the link you gave it looked like it was gonna be on some compilation CD, is there vinyl?

In their haste to emphasise the Levan connection, they've wrongly credited him with the 'Funky' mix and Thode with the 'Sweet' mix. It's the other way 'round.
