Can you tell me what CD the song "I Love My Radio (Midnight Radio) is on? I think the artist name is "Taffy?" and it was made in the early 1980's. I'd like to find the extended version on CD if possbile. Thanks for your help.

The reason I ask is because I became an ex DJ in June '87 and remember playing it a lot in late '86/early '87 on a pre-release to very little response. I never knew it actually became a hit!!!

I looked up 12" copy and see that it was released in 1985 on the Ibiza label.I recall playing this song in the clubs where it garnered reasonable acceptance but my recollection was that it was never a huge hit.

Hi QUINNY it was in the charts for 10 weeks & reached number 6 on 10th Jan 1987

I love that song. I downloaded it from Kazaa. I remember hearing it the summer of 86'. It was pretty popular-they played it alot in the mixes on the radio(I was too young to go to clubs back then) and my friends were quite fond of it as well.

MWHAZ, I have this Taffy track (a hi-nrg classic IMO) on the compilation CD 'Beat This - 20 Hits from Rhythm King' (SMD 973); I recommend that u try to find this as its very good & contains super late 80's 'disco revival' tracks by the likes of S'Express, Baby Ford, Gwen McCrae & Viola Wills.
